MOPS at CBC is for moms who have at least one child (infant through Kindergarten), or are pregnant, and is designed to meet the needs of mothers of preschoolers from all walks of life who share similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!

At MOPS meetings we have lots of fun beginning with snacks and a time to talk and get to know each other. We then enjoy insightful speakers on topics relevant to moms in this season of life, small group discussions, and creative activities.  There will also be several Play Dates and Mommy Nights Out planned as the year goes on.

Our theme for 2008-2009: Adventures in Mothering  You'll be exploring life as a mom where, packed with excitement and surprise, you navigate through the merry-go-rounds, roller coasters and bumper cars of your days with little ones.

What: Sample topics of guest speakers:

• The words Mothers use

• Infant and Toddler CPR

• Birthday party planning on a shoestring budget

• A Parents Tool Box

• Discipline- its a Positive Concept

When: 9:30-11:30 am on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, October - May. Follow the signs inside the building.
Cost: $30 yearly registration fee includes MOPS-to-Mom Connection. There is also a weekly fee of $5. Scholarships are available.
